Publish with ITB

Does your game fit Inside The Box?

As well as publishing our own games ITB Board Games are interested in hearing from designers looking to publish with an independent company. We’re enthusiastic about providing a platform for fledgling designers in the games market and are happy to hear from individuals or teams about their concepts and ideas. If your idea fits with our ethos then we’re happy to talk about how we can take it further!

ITB is not a traditional publishers, and we aim to work directly with designers at every stage of the production process. As well as input in all areas we’ll offer some of the best royalties in the industry, and the chance to be hands-on with the ITB team. We also offer free desk space in our office for designers we partner up with to provide them the best possible environment to work in.

What We're Looking For

We welcome pitches of all themes and mechanics, but have a particular idea on the games we’d like to work on.

ITB is interested mostly in novel medium/heavyweight games that focus on experience-led play and integrated themes. We are unfortunately unable to accept ideas for collectible card games, party games, family games and anything with an x-rated theme.

What we do want is games for hobbyists that can satisfy people across the tabletop community.

If your game isn’t a match for us that doesn’t mean it’s bad – it’ just not we’re looking for at this time! We have realationships with other independent publishers across the UK and the rest of the world, and are happy to make an introduction if we think your idea would suit them better.

Small Team. Big Ambition.

ITB Board Games was founded in 2015, and since then has grown from a tiny bedroom project into a professional independent company. In 2017 we won Best Card Game and Best European-Style Game at the UK Games Expo for our games Statecraft and Sub Terra.

As we succeed and grow we’re looking always looking for new and interesting ideas to bring to the world. If you have an idea that you’d like to see realised then we want to hear from you!
